Turner Lovell is recruiting an experienced Building Services / MEP Project Manager to join a UK-based EPC Principal Contractor delivering a major construction project in East of England. This role will take full responsibility for the Building Services package, from the commissioning phase to client handover.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver the Building Services scope safely, on programme, within budget, and to quality standards
Manage and coordinate the design development and installation of all MEP systems, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and client specifications
Act as the main interface between design consultants, subcontractors, and the client
Procure, manage, and oversee subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure all pre-construction and construction documentation is in place and approved, including: RAMS, CPP, EMP, TMP, QMP, ERP, Temporary Works Register, and ITPs
Chair and lead progress and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Manage change control, monitoring impacts on programme, cost, and quality, and implement mitigation measures where required
Fulfil the role of Design Manager / Design Coordinator, ensuring timely issue, review, and approval of design information
Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of building services systems, including O&M manuals and as-built documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a Building Services / MEP Project Manager within the UK
Degree qualified in Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, SMSTS
Strong experience delivering HVAC and electrical packages on UK construction or energy projects
Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, and HSE requirements
Proven ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, budgets, and client relationships
Willing to be site-based in East of England (typically 3 days per week, Monday–Friday)
