Building Services Manager

• Take full ownership of the commissioning management and handover of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health) packages
• Ensure all systems are fully operational, compliant with relevant standards, and delivered to the highest quality
• Be involved from the early stages of construction through to commissioning and final client handover
• Conduct commissioning activities in accordance with the CIBSE Code M
• Lead and manage the commissioning programme, chairing regular meetings to drive progress and resolve issues promptly
• Review subcontractor commissioning plans, drawings, and technical submissions for compliance and practicality
• Coordinate MEP commissioning activities with other trades to avoid delays and ensure seamless integration
• Ensure installations meet quality standards and comply with legislation, codes of practice, and guides such as BREEAM, CIBSE, and BSRIA
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle

• Commissioning management of MEP systems
• Strong technical and design knowledge of MEP services and process engineering
• Experience with complex projects including clean rooms
• Leadership and team management
• Coordination of multi-disciplinary trades and subcontractors
• Quality assurance and compliance with legislation and standards (BREEAM, CIBSE, BSRIA)
• Review and validation of technical submissions and commissioning plans
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and off-site manufacturing methods
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Competency in Common Data Environment platforms, specifically 4Projects
• Degree or similar in Building Services Engineering or related discipline
• Knowledge and application of CIBSE Code M
• Familiarity with BREEAM, CIBSE, and BSRIA standards and guides
