Bouygues UK has a fantastic opportunity available for a Building Services Manager to work on an exciting project in Exeter. The project is a large scale (~£270M) and long term (3 year duration) student accommodation scheme, comprising of 6 new-build blocks and a refurbishment of an existing block. Job Purpose: To be the Lead Building Services Manager on site, in charge of all MEP packages for the project. Key Tasks: The scope to be managed is the production works related to: MEP scope of works for the entire project comprising: Refurbishment works in Birks Grange RF block; New build activities in all new 6 Build blocks; Interfaces with all trades; Incoming services coordination; Substation construction; Liaison with the University when required for incoming services; Packages range from Mechanical, Ventilation, Public health, Electrical, Spinklers, access control, PV panels, LV connection, Substations, T&C. Packages cumulative value is about £45m
Job Responsibility
To be the Lead Building Services Manager on site, in charge of all MEP packages for the project
MEP scope of works for the entire project comprising: Refurbishment works in Birks Grange RF block
New build activities in all new 6 Build blocks
Interfaces with all trades
Incoming services coordination
Substation construction
Liaison with the University when required for incoming services
Packages range from Mechanical, Ventilation, Public health, Electrical, Spinklers, access control, PV panels, LV connection, Substations, T&C
Requirements
MEP knowledge and experience
Ability and experience in delivering large scope and managing large teams
Structures knowledge
