Bouygues UK has a fantastic opportunity available for a Building Services Manager to work on an exciting project in Exeter. The project is a large scale (~£270M) and long term (3 year duration) student accommodation scheme, comprising of 6 new-build blocks and a refurbishment of an existing block. Job Purpose: To be the Lead Building Services Manager on site, in charge of all MEP packages for the project. Key Tasks: The scope to be managed is the production works related to: MEP scope of works for the entire project comprising: Refurbishment works in Birks Grange RF block; New build activities in all new 6 Build blocks; Interfaces with all trades; Incoming services coordination; Substation construction; Liaison with the University when required for incoming services; Packages range from Mechanical, Ventilation, Public health, Electrical, Spinklers, access control, PV panels, LV connection, Substations, T&C. Packages cumulative value is about £45m

Job Responsibility

  • To be the Lead Building Services Manager on site, in charge of all MEP packages for the project
  • MEP scope of works for the entire project comprising: Refurbishment works in Birks Grange RF block
  • New build activities in all new 6 Build blocks
  • Interfaces with all trades
  • Incoming services coordination
  • Substation construction
  • Liaison with the University when required for incoming services
  • Packages range from Mechanical, Ventilation, Public health, Electrical, Spinklers, access control, PV panels, LV connection, Substations, T&C

Requirements

  • MEP knowledge and experience
  • Ability and experience in delivering large scope and managing large teams
