The Security Team’s primary goal is to ensure and enhance the safety and well-being of the Founders of Acquisition.com, employees, guests, vendors, and VIPs while also safeguarding the integrity of the building itself. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical security of both the people and the facilities at Acquisition.com Headquarters in Las Vegas, NV. You will engage with staff and guests in a professional, courteous manner and serve as both a security specialist and an ambassador for the company, representing our values in every interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet all visitors, guests, and vendors, and implement enhanced security protocols during major events
  • Interact professionally with employees, guests, and vendors at all times
  • Provide a vigilant security presence
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
  • Secure all entry and exit points
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property
  • Accurately complete detailed incident reports
  • Immediately report any suspicious activity to the Building Security Manager
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when interacting with agitated or aggressive individuals
  • Respond to medical emergencies, provide aid as needed
  • Uphold a high level of physical fitness and firearms proficiency
  • Utilize tools such as Google Suite, computer software, and mobile apps
  • Collaborate with Executive Protection
  • Manage the collection of packages, deliveries, and mail
  • Perform additional related tasks as necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years armed security or law enforcement experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation
  • Must live in Las Vegas, NV
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Nevada CCW/LEOSA
  • Own or willing to purchase a semiautomatic handgun and level 3 retention holster and other security equipment required by the company
  • Security team members will be required to own black tactical pants, and black shineable leather boots
  • Successfully complete company-provided firearms training and qualification, along with the Physical Fitness Test, within 30 days of employment and on a semi-annual basis thereafter
  • Successfully complete company-provided first aid, CPR/AED, use of force, and hands-on/defensive tactics trainings within 8 weeks of start date and periodically thereafter as required
