Job Description

A respected multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy are seeking a Principal Designer with an Architectural background to manage and track design compliance across their extensive project portfolio following the Building Safety Act (2022).

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and track design compliance across project portfolio
  • Design Coordination in relation to Building Regulations
  • Liaise with team to utilise Design Compliance trackers
  • Provide design advice relevant to Building Regulations

Requirements

  • Confident in Building Regulation/Control knowledge
  • Minimum of 4 years of Project experience post ARB/RIBA/ACIAT certification
  • Member of a professional organisation: RIBA/MCIAT (preferred)
  • Experience working as a BR Principal Designer (preferred)

Nice to have

  • Member of a professional organisation: RIBA/MCIAT
  • Experience working as a BR Principal Designer
