Job Description

Working with our Property Management VIC team, JLL are looking for a Building Operations Supervisor to support a prestigious Mixed-Use, CBD asset. This role requires a hands-on facilities management professional to oversee building operations, contractor management, and compliance across all building systems while serving as the primary operational contact for tenants, contractors, and emergency situations.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee contractor pre-qualification, inductions, and site access requirements
  • Complete property inspections and manage Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Manage cleaning services, car parks, waste management, and recycling programs
  • Coordinate security personnel and act as first contact for security operations
  • Review and close tenant work requests with management follow-up
  • Monitor Essential Safety Measures compliance and contractor performance
  • Maintain contract registers, SharePoint administration, and contractor databases
  • Provide after-hours emergency response and callout assistance
  • Support risk/compliance programs, audits, and incident reporting
  • Identify and recommend improvements to building operations and safety

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, BAS, fire safety, and electrical systems
  • Experience in property industry building services and facilities management
  • Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and contractor management
  • Ability to manage multiple complex issues concurrently within tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
