Job Description:

Our client, a leading Facilities Maintenance provider, is looking for a Building Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Peterborough. This is a static site-based role, perfect for someone ready to apply their all-round maintenance skills.

Job Responsibility:

Performing routine maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, and building fabric
Responding to reactive maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
Carrying out minor repairs and general upkeep to ensure the building remains in excellent condition
Assisting with other facilities tasks as required

Requirements:

Basic electrical knowledge: Capable of handling minor electrical repairs and fault finding
Basic plumbing skills: Competent with general plumbing tasks and leak fixes
Fabric maintenance experience: Confident with general building fabric duties like repairs, painting, and carpentry
A strong commitment to health and safety
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
