The town of Winchester seeks a candidate for a full-time Building Maintenance Coordinator position available at the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, energy conservation measures, facility scheduling, post construction and warranty issues and all forms of facility maintenance. The Maintenance Coordinator also oversees all HVAC, lighting, plumbing, elevator service, fire alarm and fire suppression testing and upkeep, and security systems as well as any new technology. Ability to climb ladders, carry moderately heavy equipment and supplies. Physically able to directly participate in snow removal procedures. Requires extensive knowledge in all areas of building maintenance and repair equivalent to two years of technical training in carpentry, electrical work, masonry and plumbing. Construction supervisor's license or be able to obtain it within 18 months of hire. Ability to read blueprints and develop plans. Valid MA driver's license required.
