Job Description:

MKA’s Building Information Modelers produce Revit models and structural engineering drawing sets. Our modelers work together with structural engineers as part of a project team developing designs for world-class buildings by doing the following: Employing strong verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism; Providing hands-on assistance with production of Revit models and document sets; Serving as an integral member of BIM Department, participating in additional departmental activities and providing support to others outside the department; Working independently to meet deadlines; Demonstrating an understanding of the construction industry and structural/architectural systems and components

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Focus on accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Produce models/drawings consistent with instruction, guidelines, and MKA BIM standards
  • Balance multiple deadlines and changing priorities with ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Effectively interact with engineers and other members of the BIM team to understand and communicate technical information
  • Complete training and learn skills necessary for increased responsibility
  • Effectively utilize time management skills, including organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization
  • Demonstrate accountability to project team and BIM Manager
  • Continuously uphold established company presentation and brand standards through deliverables

Requirements:

  • Education in architecture, engineering or BIM design technology
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience with Revit or Tekla modeling experience
  • Experience with A/E/C industry required
  • Thorough understanding of print reading and construction document production
