Requirements

solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping
technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
ideally some IT skills
ability to be truly considerate and kind when communicating with a resident or co-worker
ability to recognise signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns
willingness to attend safeguarding training appropriate to role and undertake additional training in associated areas
ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken

Job Responsibility

making sure our Residents live in a place that’s proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained at all times
carry out audits and make sure records are kept up to date
replacing a tap or mixer valve
fitting a new extractor fan
repairing the timber on a bedroom window
putting up new wallpaper in the dining room
