Building Engineer III

• respond to guest repair requests
• perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
• carry equipment
• maintain maintenance inventory
• display advanced skill in multiple engineering categories including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical equipment, appliances, HVAC, and building systems
• follow safety and company policies
• train and mentor other engineers as necessary
• perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities

• Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
• must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
• high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• vocational or technical background
• at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
• valid Driver’s License

extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
