Job Description:

The town of Concord is seeking an energetic, team-oriented, self-starter to join our Facilities team as a Building Custodian. This is an opportunity to have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives by performing cleaning and basic maintenance of public buildings and grounds (not schools) to ensure safe, clean and sanitary facilities.

During such inspections, pay additional attention to the overall maintenance condition of walkway, ceilings, floors, carpeting, railings, windows, and screens.
  • Maintain current knowledge on the operation and maintenance of all building, grounds, and swimming pool equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure a long life and uninterrupted service.
  • Be prepared to conduct miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Building Supervisor.
