Job Responsibility

  • Assess plans and specifications for Building Regulations compliance
  • Conduct site inspections and issue detailed reports
  • Advise clients and design teams on technical and regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with fire safety and design professionals
  • Manage projects independently with full autonomy and support
  • Handle all aspects of Building Regulations compliance from plan assessments to client liaison

Requirements

  • Building Control or Building Surveying background
  • Experience assessing plans and carrying out site inspections
  • Full or part membership of RICS, CABE, CIOB, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated standards
  • Professional, detail-focused, and passionate about ensuring quality and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload across multiple projects
