Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy that specialises in CDM, Principal Design, and Building Regulations compliance. With a strong reputation in the industry, they work closely with BSA Principal Designers, developers, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with the latest building safety legislation.

Job Responsibility:

Assessing and approving plans for compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation
Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance and identifying potential issues
Liaising with clients, Principal Designers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to provide expert guidance
Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections and assessments
Staying up to date with changes in building regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

A relevant qualification in Building Control, Surveying, Construction, or a related field
Membership with a recognised professional body such as RICS, CABE, or CIOB
Proven experience in building control, building surveying, or regulatory compliance
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and industry standards
Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise clients on compliance requirements.
