Job Description

We are looking a detail-oriented and technically strong Build Release Engineer to manage and improve our software release processes. You will work closely with Development teams, QA teams, automate and streamline the release of our products. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge on version control, build systems, and release automation.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for software products, from build through deployment
  • Create and maintain release branches, tagging, and versioning using Git.(e.g., Cruise Control, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Maintain and document release procedures and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards (Release Documents)
  • Troubleshoot build and deployment failures
  • provide root cause analysis
  • Support multiple environments (dev, staging, production) and ensure consistency across them
  • Automate manual tasks to reduce human error and increase release velocity
  • Maintain tools used for software configuration management and build systems

Requirements

  • Any Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in Cruise Control, Azure DevOps
  • Experience with technical languages (e.g., .Net & MS SQL)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.,)
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills & Good communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Experience in compliance-heavy environments (e.g., ISO, SOC2)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (any)
