Junior Kitchen Manager role in the Butlin's Buffets Department based in Skegness, supporting the Kitchen Manager in running the kitchen and leading a team of chefs, with a focus on guest experience, financial performance, and team development.
Job Responsibility:
Support the running of the kitchen
Support in leading a large team of chefs
Step up in the Kitchen Manager's absence
Monitor guest experience and develop action plans
Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification
Support accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety
Ensure training schedules and performance development plans are in place for team
Requirements:
Experience in a similar level role with large volume turn around
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Good time management and organisational skills
Hard working, determined, and reliable
Must have passed Level 3 Food Safety qualification
Confident in leading a team to deliver high standards
Responsible for managing margins and controlling costs
Responsible for health, safety and hygiene
Must be over 18 years old
