Junior Kitchen Manager role in the Butlin's Buffets Department based in Skegness, supporting the Kitchen Manager in running the kitchen and leading a team of chefs, with a focus on guest experience, financial performance, and team development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the running of the kitchen
  • Support in leading a large team of chefs
  • Step up in the Kitchen Manager's absence
  • Monitor guest experience and develop action plans
  • Deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification
  • Support accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar level role with large volume turn around
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Must have passed Level 3 Food Safety qualification
  • Confident in leading a team to deliver high standards
  • Responsible for managing margins and controlling costs
