Job Description

You will serve as Strategic Finance Business Partner, advising leadership on overhead optimization and cash flow strategies. Additionally you will cover financial governance, ensuring all reporting aligns with both local and international standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Financial Advisory: Analyze and forecast overhead costs, coordinating with regional entities to manage service fee structures
  • Operational Excellence: Supervise accounting workflows and system structures within SAP to maintain high-quality financial data
  • Risk & Control: Lead internal audit preparations and implement robust risk-mitigation protocols across business units
  • Asset Management: Drive health in the balance sheet by managing capital expenditure budgets and optimizing receivables/payables
  • Commercial Support: Evaluate customer creditworthiness and manage fiscal risk for new business opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience
  • a background in controllership is ideal
  • Expertise in financial accounting, management reporting, and SAP
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Nissho Boki 2nd or equivalent is preferred
  • Advanced level English
  • capable of facilitating high-level discussions with senior management
  • Must be able to work from the Tokyo office at least 40% of the time
