The BTSS - ICBS Country Head role at Citi involves overseeing Business and Travel Shared Services (BTSS) products within Jordan. The role encompasses strategy execution, financial management, operational management, continuous process improvement initiatives, and leadership of the BTSS team. Job Responsibility:
Execute BTSS global/regional Product strategy
Identify continuous improvement initiatives that will lead to cost savings
Be a champion of the values and ethics of the organization
Adhere and meet country BTSS financial budget
Provide explanation on monthly variances
Provide leadership and opportunities for development of the BTSS Team by focusing on development of appropriate skills for each employee
Agree with employee’s goals and perform mid and year-end discussion and appraisal with every employee
Encourage and reward team members for exceptional performance and for raising ideas
Ensure efficient delivery of Business and Travel Shared Services in country
Conduct regular review of BTSS processes against standards, policy and regulatory requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal clients
Drive customer centric efficiencies and cost saving initiatives
Identify & leverage best practices for continuous process improvements & re-engineering
Research innovate solutions for current services
Understand country and market trends, competitors, and new supplier’s capabilities
Prepare and review internal responsibilities, job descriptions, all departmental policies and procedures
Responsible for Local daily operational BTSS core services including the management of outsourced services
Build and maintain a robust control environment across all areas of responsibility
Ensure and maintain good relationship and cooperation with peers, other local or regional units, top management, vendors and partners
Actively participate in BTSS regional meetings, calls and other applicable BTSS products activities
Hold monthly staff meetings on business updates, project, issues
Meet regularly with stakeholders, presenting projects, performance, metrics, cost saving initiatives and understanding requirements and expectations
Hold regular meetings with suppliers, reviewing the SLA, metrics, costs, and improvements
Share best practices within regional/global teams
Escalate issues as appropriate
Act as BAO (Business Activity Owner) for several in-country suppliers
Requirements:
Preferred background in a multinational organization
Minimum 3-year experience in Administrative or similar areas, experience in processes related to Business & Travel Shared Services such as Archiving, Internal Mail, Printing, Travel vehicle handling and control, corporate cards etc.
prior experience in financial services and knowledge of banking products and concepts is a plus but not essential
Experience producing data analysis with a high level of accuracy
Effective quantitative and analytical skills
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long term professional relationships
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Prior experience in financial services and knowledge of banking products and concepts
