Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated experience in salmon or trout broodstock management and/or hatchery operations
Degree in aquaculture, fisheries, or a related field (considered an asset)
Strong practical fish handling and spawning experience
Solid understanding of fish welfare, biosecurity, and water quality management
Strong attention to detail and confidence with record-keeping
Ability to lead by example and work effectively in a hands-on role
Experience with data collection and document management
Well-developed English verbal and written communication
Physical ability to complete repetitive tasks and handle up to 25kg of material
Self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment

Daily care, performance monitoring, and welfare of salmon broodstock
Support high-quality egg production through effective husbandry and spawning operations
