Job Description:

Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Brokerage Officer to join its social care team in Trowbridge. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for sourcing care services and placements that meet the needs and outcomes of customers, working closely with social care colleagues, commissioners, and service providers. You will play a key role in ensuring value for money, efficient service delivery, and timely decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

  • Source and secure care services and placements in line with assessed needs
  • Work collaboratively with social workers, commissioners, and providers
  • Ensure services are commissioned in a cost-effective and timely manner
  • Challenge and influence decisions to ensure best value outcomes
