Job Description

This role will support brokerage activities by providing program management, financial analysis, reporting, tactical implementation, transaction management and completing special projects as assigned to support quality decision making by clients and brokerage team. The role is an opportunity for growth with exposure to all asset classes. The ideal candidate will execute on the below job functions with a high level of quality and accuracy. This role will be dedicated to a utility client with oversight of program management for a critical multi-year Surplus Property initiative. This role will ensure the efficient management and continued progress of the program by tracking and reporting on all critical pathways. Additionally, Analyst will be tasked to produce detailed financial models and other analyses for transactions of varying complexity to support negotiations including cash flows.

Job Responsibility

  • Track all critical pathways to get properties through due diligence and initial approval to market properties
  • Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Manage key report(s) in online database (Salesforce), proprietary software, and Excel
  • Work closely with brokers to communicate thoughtful viable solutions to complex client driven requirements
  • Develop and track benchmarks and KPIs to evaluate an existing portfolio’s performance against industry and market competitors
  • Read and review real estate documents (i.e. PSAs, leases, environmental and engineering reports, appraisals, etc.) and prepare abstract reports
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources (portfolio reporting, market research, business unit data) into digestible, actionable recommendations to clients
  • Package and present summaries and recommendations to clients which highlight key deal terms
  • Produce market surveys or reports
  • Organize historical client contact/activity
  • Point of contact for tracking, management, reporting (internal and external)
  • Manage the brokerage team’s active projects
  • Collaborate with research & marketing team(s) on market research including drafting Requests for Proposals, reports, and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate,or Finance preferred
  • 1-3 years of real estate experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Financial/analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
  • Self-motivating and proactive individual who is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines without clearly defined direction
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
