Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the proper placement of complex risks in the reinsurance market, advise clients, generate new business channels, provide support and international market quotations to Aon Retail, cedent companies and third party brokers, as well as develop new products and placement tools
  • Place complex facultative risks in Power, Energy, Construction, Infrastructure, Mobile Equipment and standalone SRCC, defining market strategy, structure, and required capacity
  • Provide technical advisory to clients, cedents, internal Aon teams and external brokers regarding coverage options, pricing, limits, and wordings
  • Develop, originate and manage new facultative opportunities, identifying trends, client needs and new product possibilities
  • Lead the market reservation process and manage the full placement cycle
  • Prepare slips, cover notes, risk summaries, underwriting submissions, and technical documentation for small, mid-size, and large accounts
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, capacity, and pricing with reinsurers, ensuring competitive and technically placements
  • Support and lead the renewal process, ensuring continuity and improvement of terms and service levels
  • Prepare and review income sheets, layer structures, limits and retentions analyses, accumulation assessments, and exposure scenarios
  • Manage portfolio movements, including endorsements, extensions, scope changes, and value adjustments
  • Provide claims support, coordinating communication with markets, gathering documentation, monitoring reserves, and following up the settlement process
  • Oversee and coordinate the premium payment process, ensuring timely settlements, reconciliations, documentation, and contractual compliance
  • Ensure proper tracking of subjectivities, outstanding documents and market confirmations until the formal close of placement
  • Meet the financial plan, pipeline goals, KPIs and service standards established for the line of business
  • Contribute to the technical and professional development of the team

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in insurance, ideally in technical lines
  • Technical knowledge of the business line and the legal framework of insurance and reinsurance
  • Solid command of Excel and analytical tools for structuring limits, layers, retentions and accumulations
  • Intermediate english

Previous experience in a reinsurance brokerage environment is a plus
