Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Effectively manage client relationships and act as the point of escalation
  • Keep clients up to date with market trends and developments
  • Act in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • To promote cross-division and cross-region sales to existing and prospective clients
  • To assist the risk division in prudent risk management of all financial clearing clients
  • Grow income in Environmental products through agency broking
  • Introduce new clearing and execution clients to Marex
  • Responsible for identification of opportunities with new clients and most efficient setup for the clients
  • Monitor and maintain client performance, revenue, returns and risk reviews
  • Dealing in commodities, in particular power, carbon and renewables
  • Directly corresponding with clients. Clients include but are not limited to Banks, Hedge Funds, Trading Houses, and Corporates
  • Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships
  • Assist with support processes as required by colleagues, engage and update clients
  • Develop strategies to increase P&L, through analysis of markets and products
  • Manage work efficiently and support areas where work processes can be improved, e.g., assist in the preparation of any new required frameworks
  • Collaborate with central operations functions which support the trading role, including but not limited to, Operations and Technology
  • Ensure compliance with the company's authorization under the MAS, as well as all regulations and policies as required
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
  • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
  • At all times complying with Marex's Code of Conduct
  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
  • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
  • To escalate risk events immediately
  • To provide input to risk management processes, as required
