We’re assisting a prominent insurance firm in hiring for a key role: Broker Claims Handler. This is an opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation in the industry. You will manage the end-to-end claims process, liaising with clients, insurers, and stakeholders, negotiating settlements, and provide expert advice. The role requires strong policy knowledge and the ability to resolve complex claims while maintaining excellent client and supplier relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Take full ownership of allocated claims, managing the entire claims process from start to finish
Ensure that Account Executives/Directors are informed of all repudiations, with each one being verified
Maintain clear and consistent communication between the claims and broking teams
Collaborate with Account Executives and the Management team to ensure that service standards are met
Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners
Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, regulations, and case law
Requirements:
5 years of experience working in a claims department within a brokerage
Managing commercial claims
Conducting client meetings and presentations
Negotiating claims settlements
Handling total loss claims
Resolving liability disputes
Managing and resolving client complaints
A strong understanding of policy wordings, particularly for core insurance classes (Commercial Combined, Property, and Liability)
