Be part of a team that produces and analyzes statistics for professional sports broadcasts such as Fox Sports, CBS, NBC and various other networks. A Broadcast Research Analyst is responsible for producing specialized statistics and other sports related content that will be used by broadcasters and researchers in preparation for upcoming games and during live events. Sportradar analysts must have flexibility in their schedule as hours would include holidays, evening shifts and weekends to cover live events for the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB and college sports.
Job Responsibility
Generate, analyze and adjust custom reports based on client needs
Produce proactive insights and game notes to support live broadcasts and pre/post game coverage
Utilize SQL code to generate charts and reports from robust data sets
Assist with QA and maintenance of the research tool and datasets
Utilize ticketing systems to communicate directly with clients as well as to internally track the progression of issues
Leverage sports knowledge to create data-driven insights for broadcasts
Meet time sensitive deadlines
Identify potential quality issues and escalate as needed
Perform other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
