Job Description

Make your mark as a Bridge Supervisor (CSV) for Boskalis Subsea Services, on behalf of Ultimate Marine Solutions Limited! The Bridge Supervisor has the responsibility for a safe, efficient and successful operations on a Construction Support Vessel and will ensure that the specifications of the project are met within local legislation, Boskalis standards, industry guidelines and best practices, and client requirements. You will coordinate and supervise the safe and efficient execution of project operations according to project procedures, business processes and industry best practice. Further, you will proactively support and coach personnel to uphold a high-performing culture aimed at achieving the safety goal of No Injuries, No Accidents (NINA).

Job Responsibility

  • Primarily responsible for the safe, efficient and timely execution of project work scopes in accordance with the contract and project procedures ensuring compliance with local and international guidelines and legislation, reporting to the Offshore Construction Manager
  • Overall responsibility for Supervision and co-ordination of Subsea, deck and quayside operations including hazard identification prior to operations
  • Ensure that all operations are supervised and that all procedures and control measures are being adhered to. These will include ROV operations, back deck Operations, Quayside, and mobilization activities along with other Vessel/marine related operations
  • Raise and chair regular meetings for the Project Team. These will include project briefings, toolbox talks, Level two HIRA / Risk Assessment reviews, Safety meetings, Identification of the Management of change process, incident reporting and investigation in accordance with the BMS processes and procedures

Requirements

  • OPITO approved BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST (for UKCS only) and OEUK Medical
  • Suitable relevant offshore experience, largely on DP Vessels
  • Extensive experience in a similar role or role/s progressing towards the position of Offshore Construction Manager
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of offshore construction processes, including a good working knowledge of cranes, rigging, lifting, QHSE and operational procedures
  • Sound working knowledge of ROV, Dynamic Positioning (DP) pipelay and survey operations
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of current legislation and guidance
