Job Description:

The Stylist is responsible for providing and maintaining a positive, friendly, empathetic and professional selling experience with all customers. Stylists are responsible for providing 5-Star Customer Service to all David’s Bridal customers, achieving sales goals and productivity by expertly following our 5-Step Selling Process, and performing duties related to the presentation and operations of the store. S/he reports to the Store Manager in partnership with the Sales Manager. Bridal Stylists are brand ambassadors and demonstrate the values and critical success factors of the David’s Bridal brand.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing and maintaining a positive, friendly, empathetic and professional selling experience with all customers
  • providing 5-Star Customer Service to all David’s Bridal customers
  • achieving sales goals and productivity by expertly following our 5-Step Selling Process
  • performing duties related to the presentation and operations of the store
  • welcoming all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone and in person
  • using all systems to manage customer flow to deliver 5-star customer experience
  • using iPad tools to research and communicate information to customers
  • preparing for customer appointments by reviewing customer profiles, favorites and preparing a fitting room
  • building a relationship by welcoming customers, asking questions and listening
  • striving to identify the perfect gown/dress in the customer’s first three try-ons
  • reviewing Timeline Calendar and setting future appointments
  • communicating how alterations play an important role
  • promoting all alterations services and personalization options
  • partnering with Alterations Specialists to set up appointments
  • ensuring proper measurements are taken and entered into events
  • maintaining store-standards
  • maintaining high dress code standards
  • offering David’s Bridal loyalty & partners program
  • responding promptly to all customer questions
  • maintaining David’s Bridal hourly sales productivity standards
  • supporting all cash wrap behaviors and processing transactions
  • consistently achieving a 65% or greater platform conversion
  • consistently achieving add-on goals
  • setting come back appointments for the complete wedding party
  • completing training in a timely manner
  • executing new processes, behaviors, contests and programs as assigned
  • performing duties as assigned by store management
  • actively supporting the store team to achieve goals
  • accurately clocking in and out
  • following all loss prevention, security processes and policies
  • focusing on own development and learning
  • celebrating successes of team members
  • sharing sales expertise and product knowledge
  • being open to coaching and feedback
  • completing all required myLearning courses

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or an equivalent degree
  • 1 -2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service or specialty store environment
