Bricklayer

• Carry out bricklaying works including repairs to walls, structures and brickwork features
• Work from plans, specifications and job instructions to complete works to the required standard
• Prepare and apply mortar and ensure correct alignment and positioning of materials
• Cut and shape bricks and blocks using appropriate tools and equipment
• Carry out repairs to brickwork, blockwork and related structures
• Ensure work areas are safe, tidy and compliant with Health & Safety requirements
• Complete job records and documentation accurately using PDA or digital systems
• Work collaboratively with other operatives and support apprentices where required
• Deliver a high standard of workmanship with a strong focus on first-time fix
• Provide a professional service to residents while working in occupied properties

• Proven experience in bricklaying within a repairs and maintenance or construction environment
• Ability to interpret drawings, plans and specifications
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements on construction or housing sites
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Full UK driving licence
