Job Description

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon to join our growing multidisciplinary Breast Oncology Program in Jacksonville, Florida. The Section of Breast Surgical Oncology currently includes four other dedicated breast surgeons within the Division of Surgical Oncology. A successful candidate will be fully supported in developing a rewarding clinical practice in breast oncology alongside a multidisciplinary team of employed physicians and advance practice providers at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Requirements

  • Completion of an SSO/ASBrS accredited fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology
  • MD/DO and unrestricted FL medical license
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Surgery
  • Licensed Physician Required
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License Required
  • Have or obtain an unrestricted Medical License in Florida
  • Certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties Surgery Board or equivalent

  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board discussions and contribute to evidence‑based treatment planning
  • Ensure adherence to national standards of breast cancer care, including NCCN, NAPBC, ASCO, and Commission on Cancer guidelines
  • Capacity to perform stereotactic and ultrasound biopsy
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the Breast Program and related oncology service lines
