Reporting to the Administrative Director and Physician and supervised by the Practice Manager. The Breast Health Patient Navigator-Surgical Scheduler is responsible for coordinating all aspects of breast health patient care. Assists the physicians and Mid-Level providers as needed. Assures Patient Experience protocols are followed.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
3-5 years’ experience working as a navigator or surgical scheduler in a clinical setting
Graduate of a Medical Assistant/Secretary program preferred
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and moderate keyboarding is required
Knowledge of EPIC and Meditech electronic medical records preferred
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with strong ability to multi-task required
Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
Knowledge of patient billing, prior authorizations, account processes, third party billing and revenue cycle preferred
Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidential information required
Nice to have:
Knowledge of EPIC and Meditech electronic medical records
