Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join the culinary team at our hotel with over 150 bedrooms. We are looking for a chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality breakfasts, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality breakfast dishes in line with hotel standards
  • Ensure an efficient and smooth breakfast service, catering to both buffet and à la carte offerings
  • Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency, upholding high culinary standards
  • Set up and stock the breakfast section, ensuring everything is ready for service
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring minimal waste and effective ordering
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with HACCP and hotel policies
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop creative and varied breakfast options
  • Support in preparing and setting up for banqueting or lunch service as required
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • A passion for fresh, quality ingredients and well-executed breakfast dishes
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure during busy breakfast service
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
  • A team player with a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work early shifts, with flexibility where required
