An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join the culinary team at our hotel with over 150 bedrooms. We are looking for a chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality breakfasts, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality breakfast dishes in line with hotel standards
Ensure an efficient and smooth breakfast service, catering to both buffet and à la carte offerings
Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency, upholding high culinary standards
Set up and stock the breakfast section, ensuring everything is ready for service
Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring minimal waste and effective ordering
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with HACCP and hotel policies
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop creative and varied breakfast options
Support in preparing and setting up for banqueting or lunch service as required
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant setting
A passion for fresh, quality ingredients and well-executed breakfast dishes
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure during busy breakfast service
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
A team player with a positive and professional attitude
Ability to work early shifts, with flexibility where required
