Breakfast chef

• Prepare and cook breakfast and other meals in accordance with menu plans and dietary requirements
• Support the set-up and smooth running of meal services for guests and staff
• Maintain portion control and presentation standards across all dishes served
• Ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and hygienic
• Follow all food hygiene, allergen, and safety procedures at all times
• Store, rotate and label food correctly in line with HACCP requirements
• Work alongside the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and efficient operations
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere with a proactive and supportive attitude
• Assist with unpacking and storing deliveries when required
• Help deliver a high standard of catering that enhances the overall guest experience
• Be friendly and approachable when interacting with guests and colleagues
• Support with special dietary or allergy requests under the supervision of the Head Chef

• Previous experience as a chef in a busy kitchen environment (e.g., breakfast, hotel, events or large-scale catering)
• Strong understanding of food hygiene standards and allergens
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail

Experience in a large catering environment is desirable
