The right candidate will have 7+ years of agency experience in brand strategy/account planning/brand planning, including multicultural advertising. They should be fluent in both English and Spanish. This role reports to the Executive Brand Strategy Director.
Job Responsibility:
Direct brand strategy and foster growth on client accounts (i.e., on brand and business KPIs and scope)
Oversee and facilitate brand development process
Lead a team of strategists in consumer research, POVs, insightful creative strategy development, creative improvement and brand building
Collaborate with strategists, brand leadership, creative, media, analytics, and subject matter experts in the development and implementation of strategies
Participate in efforts to win new business
Contribute to brand strategy department thought leadership and insight development
Nurture brand strategy team growth through mentorship and training
Requirements:
7+ years of agency experience in brand strategy/brand planning/account planning
Experience in multicultural advertising and understanding the Hispanic audience
Kindness, no fear of having a divergent point of view (on the work or the world)
A hunger to learn about and experience life from someone else's perspective (i.e., culture, heritage, geography, etc.)
Able to display a history of winning, insightful strategy development
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to tell a great story
Mastery of primary research methodologies (including focus group moderation)
Command of the analytical skills needed to tell a story with data
Able to work efficiently and prioritize across multiple projects
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to represent oneself and the agency professionally in internal and external communications
Self-motivated, but works well with and contributes to an integrated team
Resourceful in problem-solving and troubleshooting
Fluent in both English and Spanish
