Job Description:

Working directly with the Business Unit Manager in General Medicine and Inflammation, in this vital role you will have full responsibility for the development of, and execution of strategic brand plans. You will work with Ireland, UK and Global colleagues. You would be joining a dynamic marketing department working across the portfolio of General Medicine and Inflammation brands during which you will be working alongside highly skilled marketers. You will lead multiple different aspects of the marketing mix, including interactions with customers and insight generation, operational planning and tactical execution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full responsibility for the development of, and execution of strategic brand plans
  • Work on brand plans for Inflammation portfolio including the launch of pipeline brands and indications
  • Budget responsibility to include forecasting, managing operating expenses and delivering budgeted sales
  • Analysis and interpretation of sales data, KPIs, market research and trends
  • Lead discussions on tender, pricing, reimbursement and access decisions
  • Lead cross-functional brand team activities and provide guidance to others
  • Work closely with the sales and access leaders to align field force activity and engagement
  • Development, delivery and evaluation of integrated omnichannel plan and development of promotional materials across multiple channels

Requirements:

  • Extensive marketing experience gained within pharmaceutical sector
  • A strong background and experience in biosimilars
  • Fully fluent in regulatory frameworks and code of practice (ABPI / IPHA)
  • Experience of working with and leading a cross functional team as well as working with Multi Channel including digital
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence
  • Degree educated in relevant discipline such as Marketing or Business

  • Manage regional speaker bureau, including providing speaker recommendations
  • Identify, map, and manage relationships with key national Vasculitis Centers and other large treatment facilities (includes the detailed mapping of referral patterns, key relationships, and influencers)
  • Coordinate and leading all one-to-one exchanges between brand team and KOLs across key initiatives and events
  • Attend and manage brand activity at key regional and national inflammation conferences (may encompass Rheumatology, Nephrology, Pulmonology), including managing product theaters, and other ancillary brand activities
  • Manage overall regional sponsorship budget, including working with organizations to secure sponsorships, and owning regional congress plan
  • Coordinate executive meetings with OLs at national conferences
  • Complete all necessary conference and speaker contract requirements in a timely manner
