As the Brand Event Manager, you will bring the University's brand to life through exceptional events and experiences that inspire, connect and leave a lasting impression. Leading a talented team, you'll drive innovative event delivery, champion sustainability in merchandise and operations, and build strong partnerships across the University and beyond. This role leads the planning and delivery of major University events and branded initiatives, ensuring they are creative, high-quality, and aligned with the University's brand and values. You will oversee end-to-end event execution, sustainable merchandise and procurement practices, and equipment management systems. Working closely with the Head of Brand, you will drive innovation, continuous improvement, and best practice - ultimately strengthening the University's reputation locally and globally.
Job Responsibility
Lead the planning, theming and delivery of major University events, ensuring exceptional experiences aligned with brand and strategic objectives
Inspire and develop a high-performing events team, fostering creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement
Drive sustainable and ethical branded merchandise strategies that reflect the University's values and commitments
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to deliver seamless, high-quality events and positive brand experiences
Oversee budgets, resources and event performance, ensuring operational excellence, value for money, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Extensive experience delivering large-scale, branded events in complex environments
Proven leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor and develop high-performing teams
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation capabilities
Demonstrated expertise in sustainable procurement and ethical merchandise practices
Excellent project, organisational and budget management skills, with a focus on delivering outcomes and continuous improvement
