Job Description:

This is a career-defining opportunity to play a crucial role in a hyper-scale AI company that is transforming the future of autonomous systems, energy, and the built environment. As our Brand and Events Architect, you will design, execute, and manage events that communicate PassiveLogic’s innovations to a broad audience, including industry experts, tech enthusiasts, customers, and partners. You will bring a strong creative eye and excellent copywriting skills to ensure every event tells a clear, cohesive story. You will lead our presence at AHR, the most important event in our industry. It is one of our largest and most complex projects. You will oversee planning, creative direction, and logistics to ensure a clear, cohesive experience that reflects our brand and goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategize and Execute Event Plans: Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with PassiveLogic’s brand and mission, covering both virtual and in-person formats
  • Create Engaging Experiences: Design and deliver world-class events that align with the company vision that translate complex technical concepts into engaging experiences for diverse audiences. Bring your social media lens to connect in-person events with digital experiences that build engagement and grow our community of advocates
  • Amplify Brand Presence: Collaborate with marketing, product, and PR team-members to enhance the impact of events and integrate them into broader brand and communication strategies. Be the bridge between creative vision and operational execution—someone who can speak the language of the greater team and translate ideas into actionable, cross-functional campaigns
  • Manage Event Logistics: Oversee logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and attendee communications to ensure flawless execution. You’ll manage complex, large-scale events like AHR, coordinating multiple vendors, timelines, and deliverables to achieve both creative excellence and operational precision
  • Lead Channel Marketing Initiatives: Partner closely with product and marketing leaders to build the infrastructure and messaging for our channel partners. You’ll help craft the product marketing content, campaigns, and event experiences that drive channel adoption and success
  • Foster Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with tech communities, channel partners, and marketing collaborators to maximize PassiveLogic’s reach and thought leadership presence
  • Measure Impact and Optimize: Track event performance, gather attendee feedback, and provide recommendations for future events to improve effectiveness and ROI

Requirements:

  • Proven experience: 5+ years in event marketing, ideally in a technology-driven environment or within the startup ecosystem
  • Exceptional communication skills: Ability to craft narratives and messaging that resonate across different channels, including events, digital media, and social platforms
  • Organized and strategic: Skilled in planning, managing budgets, and handling event logistics with a high level of attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset: Enjoy working across teams, contributing to integrated campaigns, and aligning event strategies with overall marketing goals
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, eager to learn, iterate, and innovate
  • Problem solving: You own this role. When issues arise, be the empowered force that solves them, rolling-up
  • Deep interest in technology: A strong curiosity about AI, autonomous systems, and the energy sector, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging stories
  • Natural love of market and customer research: Demonstrated enthusiasm for conducting in-depth market analysis and customer research to inform event strategies and marketing initiatives
  • Experience managing technology market messaging to technologists: Proven ability to craft and manage messaging that effectively communicates complex technical concepts to a highly technical audience
  • Copywriting and design strength: You can showcase excellent writing and visual communication skills that elevate event storytelling and brand experiences

Nice to have:

  • Building automation or IoT brand experience: Previous experience in marketing or branding within the building automation or IoT sectors, with an understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities
  • Autonomous systems or AI brand experience: Background in promoting autonomous systems or AI technologies, with the ability to translate advanced technical features into compelling marketing narratives
What we offer:
  • Competitive compensation
  • Generous equity share package
  • Medical, dental and vision coverage
  • Disability and life Insurance options
  • Flex PTO
  • Team-building events
  • Free catered lunch in the office Monday — Friday
  • Free ski pass (We are at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon)
  • Free National Park pass
