Job Description

Brand Engagement Manager, Cardiovascular job at Amgen in Japan. The role involves (K)OL engagement, speaker development, and national Peer-to-Peer meetings to deliver brand strategy and maximize patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Through (K)OL engagement, speaker development and national Peer-to-Peer (P2P) meetings, deliver the underlying intent of the brand strategy accurately and effectively to maximize patient outcomes in Japan
  • Building a group of faculty (K)OLs in the assigned area with a strong understanding of Amgen products and their clinical benefits, to shape quality P2P programs and improve standard of care for patients
  • Supporting Medical Representative (MR)-driven tasks such as area plans and area P2P in assigned sales districts
  • (K)OL engagement and speaker management
  • National/ Area speaker map & selection
  • National/ Area speaker slides
  • Medical Society, (K)OL engagement and speaker development
  • P2P planning & execution
  • National P2P program planning
  • National P2P Speaker Evaluation
  • Area P2P Support
  • Faculty Strategy – Identify, assess, and recommend potential faculty members
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with assigned faculty members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in KOL management through MR, marketing, etc. at a pharmaceutical company
  • Excellent negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in P2P planning (marketing, lecture meetings, area sales, etc)
  • Understanding of concepts in adult education
  • Able to provide stable performance even in a hybrid environment of remote and real life
  • Language: able to understand verbal and written Japanese and English documents (congress material, paper) fluently
  • Experience in the therapeutic area assigned is preferred
  • Strong communication and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Strong at problem solving skills and good data sense
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and keep direction
