We’re looking for a Brand Designer to join our team, working remotely from anywhere in Canada. You’ll lead the conceptualization and execution of compelling brand design across static and motion-based mediums, translating complex ideas into engaging visuals and motion experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Evolve and uphold KOHO’s brand identity across all touchpoints
Design creative for campaigns and always-on channels including social, dotcom, email, display, and motion assets
Own the end-to-end design process from concept to final execution across static and motion formats
Stay ahead of brand and motion trends to keep the brand expressive and relevant
Bring ideas to life through animation and motion storytelling
Integrate AI tools and motion systems to improve efficiency and experimentation
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams
Maintain and evolve brand standards, including motion guidelines
Ensure quality and consistency across product, marketing, and communication surfaces
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in brand and/or marketing design, ideally in fintech, tech, or consumer brands
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in design
Strong portfolio demonstrating brand systems thinking and motion capability
Solid understanding of motion principles including timing and transitions
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, email tools, and AI tools such as Flora or Midjourney
Experience with motion tools like After Effects and Jitter
