We’re looking for an in-house Brand Designer to help transform Blank Street into a world-class brand. Reporting to our Art Director, you’ll take our visual aesthetic to the next level across all channels: retail, print collateral, marketing campaigns + activations, social, merch and more! You will be working on a wide range of projects at every level of the process, from creative ideation to design and execution. Projects will be both assigned and self-directed. The ideal candidate has best-in-class digital and print design skills, thinks strategically about their work, keeps up to date with contemporary branding and visual trends, and has impeccable taste.
Job Responsibility:
Work in a highly collaborative cross-functional environment, and present high quality design executions
Balance multiple fast-turn, high-priority projects at once with an ability to predict and stick to estimated completion timeline
Strategize and ideate out-of-the-box design solutions, while simultaneously completing more straightforward and prescribed design tasks
Work with our tech team to ensure our brand identity is thoughtfully translated into web and app, and our user experience is as seamless as possible
Develop and own the proofing and quality control process of all internally produced content, ensuring the final deliverable is free of any grammatical mistakes, design snafus, off-brand messaging
Work within complex design systems (e.g. menu boards, marketing emails, retail labels, PDPs), implement recurring updates, and strategize ways to improve processes
Demonstrate proactive organizational, time management, and prioritization skills when faced with ambiguous challenges
