On the Waymo Marketing team, you will help to connect people with the magic and impact of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. Our team has the unique opportunity to not only grow Waymo's brand from the ground up, but to also build societal acceptance for autonomous driving technology for the first time in history. We build thoughtful marketing strategy, positioning, messaging and creative assets to deliver messages that matter to our audience, communicated through anything from video content, to social media interactions, to immersive physical experiences. We also shape Waymo's go-to-market initiatives, helping to transform Waymo into a thriving business with a growing user base.
Job Responsibility:
Extend and translate established creative concepts into pixel-perfect, production-ready assets for web, mobile, social media, and paid digital advertising campaigns
Manage the resizing, localization, and customization of master digital mechanicals to ensure consistency across diverse sizes and digital platforms
Serve as the primary designer for high-stakes business presentations, creating visually compelling decks and templates using Google Slides and PowerPoint that align with brand aesthetics
Optimize creative operations by developing and maintaining digital asset storage and archiving systems to streamline project access and file management
Collaborate with Brand Designers and Marketing teams to ensure all digital branding initiatives—from email templates to landing pages—are aligned and technically sound
Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate production workflows and enhance the scalability of digital asset generation
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in digital production design or a similar role within an agency or in-house creative studio
Demonstrated expertise in communicating directly with senior and executive stakeholders to iterate and refine high-stakes creative deliverables
Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), with a mastery of digital file preparation, resolution standards, and color profiles
Advanced skills in presentation design, specifically having expert proficiency in Google Slides and PowerPoint including master slide creation and complex formatting
Proven ability to work within and contribute to established design systems to maintain brand cohesion
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume workflows and multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have:
Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro) to create animated assets
Ability to interpret A/B test results or performance data (e.g., click-through rates) to make informed design adjustments that optimize creative effectiveness
Proven experience managing complex localization workflows, including adapting creative assets for different languages, cultural nuances, and regional platform specifications
Working knowledge of web standards to support asset implementation and digital platform updates
Previous experience working in a "high-growth" or "fast-paced" tech environment
Ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency in resizing or generating variations of creative assets
