Job Description

RevenueCat is hiring a Brand Design Lead to help raise the creative bar without slowing us down. This is a hands-on role, not a purely strategic or review-only position. You’ll help guide creative direction and evolve the brand, while also spending a significant portion of your time designing, prototyping, and shipping work yourself.

Job Responsibility

  • Guide creative direction and evolve the brand
  • Design, prototype, and ship work yourself
  • Steward of brand consistency
  • Build just enough structure to make great work repeatable
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Events, and Leadership
  • Act as the main point of contact for external design agencies and freelancers
  • Help lead the creative direction for RevenueCat’s flagship App Growth Annual conference

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in brand or visual design, with experience leading creative work for campaigns, launches, or events
  • Hands-on designer who enjoys executing work, not just reviewing or delegating it
  • Can take a project from brief → concept → execution with minimal oversight
  • Strong taste and a clear point of view, and can articulate why a design works (or doesn’t) and make the case to stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience designing for the web and can speak to web design best practices (layout systems, responsiveness, accessibility, performance considerations)
  • Working understanding of motion design and animation, and know when motion meaningfully enhances brand and storytelling
  • AI-first and actively use modern tools to explore ideas, iterate faster, and improve output quality
  • Experience working with and managing external agencies or freelancers, including knowing when to engage additional creative support
  • Comfortable balancing execution with light leadership responsibilities, such as creative direction, feedback, and prioritization
  • Can work independently, own initiatives end-to-end, and proactively push projects forward

Nice to have

  • Can share portfolio case studies that show your process, not just final assets — including the brief, alternatives considered, constraints you worked within, and how you arrived at your final decisions
  • Have experience designing and shipping complex landing pages or digital experiences end-to-end

What we offer

  • Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
  • 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
  • Fully remote and flexible work environment
  • 4-5 weeks of suggested time off annually for mental, physical, and emotional recharge
  • $2,000 USD for workspace setup
  • $1,000 USD annual stipend for continuous learning
