Job Description:

Branch Small Business Banker responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with small business banking clients in branches. Works with business customers to understand and meet their financial needs through various banking products and services.

Job Responsibility:

Build, maintain, and grow relationships with small business banking clients
Sell business deposit accounts and credit products
Service business customers in branch environment
Carry out business banking functions over the phone
Act as primary relationship manager for portfolio of small business customers
Build relationships with new customers and engage with existing customers
Participate in community organizations
Create relationships with branch employees
Engage with customers in all phases of business life cycle
Serve as leader in managing risk

Requirements:

2+ years of branch small business banking experience or equivalent
SAFE registration required
Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
Compliance with all applicable risk programs
High motivation with ability to meet team objectives
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
Experience building and maintaining effective relationships

Nice to have:

1+ year experience managing dedicated book of small business customers
Knowledge of book of business
Strong business acumen for financial services consultation
Extensive knowledge of bank lending programs and credit policies
Customer service focus with complex transaction experience
Proactive sourcing and relationship building skills
Knowledge of retail compliance controls and risk management
Ability to educate customers on mobile banking technology
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching others
