Job Description:

Branch Small Business Banker responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with small business banking clients in branches. Works with business customers with annual gross sales between $500k and $2MM, selling products including business deposit accounts, business credit products, and coordinating with partners like merchant services and ADP payroll services.

Job Responsibility:

Build and grow relationships with small business banking clients
Sell business deposit accounts and credit products
Service business customers in branch environment
Act as primary relationship manager for portfolio of small business customers
Participate in community organizations
Coordinate efforts with partners across the bank
Manage risk and ensure compliance with policies

Requirements:

2+ years of branch small business banking experience
SAFE registration at time of employment
Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
Compliance with all applicable risk programs
High motivation with ability to meet team objectives
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
Experience building and maintaining effective relationships

Nice to have:

1+ year experience managing dedicated book of small business customers
Knowledge of book of business
Strong business acumen for financial services consultation
Extensive knowledge of bank lending programs and credit policies
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching others
Proactive sourcing and relationship building skills
