Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Small Business Banker to build, maintain, and grow relationships with small business banking clients in branches. This role involves frequent client interactions to understand and meet their needs, selling banking products, and serving as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of small business customers.

Job Responsibility:

Build and grow relationships with small business banking clients
Sell business deposit accounts and credit products
Service business customers in branch environment
Conduct business banking functions over the phone
Act as primary relationship manager for portfolio of small business customers
Participate in community organizations and build relationships
Create relationships with branch employees and partners
Engage with customers in all phases of business life cycle
Serve as leader in managing risk and compliance

Requirements:

2+ years of branch small business banking experience
SAFE registration required
Knowledge of bank lending programs, credit policies, and specialty products
Customer service experience handling complex transactions
Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal partners
Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
Ability to educate customers on mobile banking options
High motivation with ability to meet team objectives
Ability to manage expectations and conduct follow-ups

Nice to have:

1+ year experience managing dedicated book of small business customers
Knowledge and understanding of book of business
Business acumen to provide financial services consultation
Experience mentoring and peer-coaching others
