Job Description

Carbiz is looking for a Branch Operations Manager with experience in the automotive/car rental/logistics sector to drive growth and success in Perth. You’ll oversee daily branch activities, streamline processes, manage vehicle and logistics operations, and foster strong partnerships with clients and repairers. Your leadership will play a key role in driving performance, supporting company growth, and shaping a positive, high‑energy workplace culture.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing daily branch operations, from vehicle cleaning and maintenance to scheduling deliveries, planning routes, and driver allocation
  • Supporting Customer Service Executives (CSEs) to deliver excellent customer service by ensuring vehicle cleanliness and presentation
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to foster a high-performance culture
  • Collaborating with other branches and cross-functional teams to streamline deliveries, vehicle swaps, and pickups
  • Building and maintaining relationships with repairers and clients for effective communication and support
  • Ensuring CSEs meet their targets, complete tasks on time, and contribute to branch and company KPIs aligned with Carbiz's values
  • Performing ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as needed
  • Complying with company policies, particularly WHS standards, to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar operations management role, ideally within automotive, car rental, or logistics (industry experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong team leadership and development skills
  • A customer-focused approach with experience managing relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • A track record of meeting operational targets and improving efficiency
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to have

Experience within automotive, car rental, or logistics sector
