Job Description:

This Branch Operations Clerk opportunity would be ideal for someone with a minimum of 2 years in the airfreight industry in a similar role. Objective of the role is to help process import and export consignments on behalf of our Customers; ensuring all necessary controls and procedures are implemented, in line with departmental goals. This position is based in Coleshill which is easily commutable from Tamworth, Solihull, Nuneaton and Birmingham. Our offices are opposite Coleshill Parkway Railway Station which offers a direct link to Birmingham Grand Central and Nuneaton.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process import and export consignments on behalf of our Customers
  • Ensuring all necessary controls and procedures are implemented, in line with departmental goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in the airfreight industry in a similar role
  • Customs & Aviation Security Knowledge (preferred but not essential)
  • High standard of accuracy, attention to detail with good arithmetic skills
  • High standard of Customer Service skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and logical, with the ability to use initiative to manage time effectively
  • To demonstrate a positive attitude, with the ability to adapt and problem solve with an optimistic outlook
  • Minimum 5 GCSE's with grade 4 or above (Incl Maths and English)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
