Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Branch Operations Associate Manager for the National Branch Network. This role involves leading teller operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing risk and compliance, developing team members, and supporting branch operations in a fast-paced banking environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and supervise risk and operations of teller functions
  • Provide feedback for improving customer service and colleague experience
  • Perform operational and customer support tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service and build customer relationships
  • Manage schedule and daily operations of teller line
  • Make decisions and resolve issues related to teller line operations
  • Leverage interpretation of regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Support customers and employees in resolving concerns
  • Collaborate with branch employees and managers
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources
  • Mentor and guide talent development

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience assessing and meeting customer needs or helping with issue resolution
  • 1+ years of Leadership experience
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements for Loan Originator positions
  • Comply with Wells Fargo policies including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards

Nice to have:

  • Leadership skills including ability to build, develop, and motivate a diverse work team
  • Ability to provide strong customer service while listening, eliciting information efficiently, comprehending, and resolving complex customer issues
  • Customer service, operations, or financial services management experience within high volume environment
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to banking industry
  • Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Relevant military experience
  • Cash handling experience
