The Branch / Office Manager – Northern Kentucky is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and operational execution of the Northern Kentucky office. This role owns branch-level P&L performance, team leadership, customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and cultural alignment. The Branch Manager ensures the branch operates in full alignment with Excel Services’ mission — “We Help People Excel” — and our Core Values: Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Innovative, Quality, and Loyalty. This leader drives profitable growth, operational excellence, workforce development, and a culture of safety and accountability.
Job Responsibility:
Full branch-level P&L accountability
Revenue, margin, and profitability targets
Budgeting and forecasting
Cost control and operational efficiency
Oversight of project managers, field leaders, and office staff
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Weekly leadership alignment meetings
Removing roadblocks and driving execution
Championing a safety-first culture
Partnering with Safety leadership to reduce incidents
Ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards
Coaching and developing leaders
Conducting performance conversations
Building a culture of accountability and ownership
Workforce planning and recruiting partnership with HR
Strengthening GC and client relationships
Supporting business development efforts
Representing Excel Services in the Northern Kentucky market
Requirements:
5–10+ years of leadership experience in commercial construction, MEP, or related trade
Proven experience managing P&L and driving profitability
Strong understanding of job costing and operational KPIs
Experience leading multi-functional teams
High integrity and decisive leadership
Strong communication skills with field and executive teams
Nice to have:
Design-build or MEP experience
EOS/Traction experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Business
