Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee for National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into a manager role. Branch Managers are responsible for leading, managing and developing a diverse team, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment to business outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, manage and develop a diverse team of direct and indirect reports
Coach bankers to engage customers and build relationships
Resolve customer and employee experience issues
Identify opportunities for digital banking adoption
Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and partners
Mentor and guide talent development
Assist in hiring talent
Execute policies and procedures in alignment with regulations
Manage allocation of people and financial resources

Requirements:

4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
2+ years of leadership experience
Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
Ability to build and inspire a team
Ability to analyze performance and execute business plans
Exercise independent judgement and critical thinking skills
Experience coaching across customer segments including affluent, high net worth, and small business
Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs
Ability to lead a team to connect customers to technology
Knowledge of banking industry laws and regulations
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism
Relevant military experience
SAFE registration at time of employment
Ability to work most Saturdays
Ability to travel up to 50% during first 6 months
