Job Description:

As the go-to person at our high-turnover Hereford branch, you’ll lead a large, fantastic team and ensure the operation runs like clockwork. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role managing a complex site that includes a dedicated Benchmarx kitchen crew, a full Tool Hire department, and a heavy-duty fleet: 3 delivery trucks and 1 dedicated Tool Hire vehicle. You’ll be right in the action, driving success by smashing sales targets, boosting profit, and ensuring the team delivers top-notch service with safety at the heart of everything.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading a large team: inspire, coach, and develop a large workforce to achieve ambitious targets
  • Operational Excellence: manage a busy yard, a 4-vehicle fleet, and high-volume stock levels
  • Customer-First Approach: build lasting relationships with Hereford’s trade and DIY customers
  • Safety & Compliance: maintain gold-standard health and safety in a high-traffic environment
  • Commercial Growth: use financial data to steer a high-turnover business toward even greater profitability
